The Z250’s aggressive street-fighter design is inspired by larger models from the popular Z Series, the Z1000 and new Z900.
Its muscular bodywork hints at the bikefs performance, while ensuring that the Z250 stands out from the crowd.
And the superb level of fit and finish further separates it from ordinary naked models.
Designed for rider-friendly response, the Z250’s fuel-injected Parallel Twin engine delivers smooth, responsive torque at low and medium rpm, and hard-hitting acceleration at high rpm.
Like the Ninja 250, the new engine is fitted with a sleeveless, plated, die-cast aluminium cylinder, lightweight coated pistons, and numerous features to ensure Kawasaki’ famous reliability.
With the same sporty engine performance found on Ninja 250, one twist of the throttle will clearly
distinguish the Z250 from lesser naked models.
Like its engine, the Z250 chassis, too, is based on the high-performance chassis of the Ninja 250.
The circuit-developed diamond frame has balanced rigidity, matched to supple suspension settings, ensuring both a very high level of performance and excellent ride quality.
The wide 140 mm rear tyre adds to handling stability.
And with the engine partially rubber mounted, vibrations are minimal, further contributing to the high-quality ride feel.
Compact headlamp cowl with mini meter visor is one of the key styling elements of the Z250’s aggressive design.
Multi-reflector headlamp from the Z900 reinforces the strong family resemblance.
Adding to the aggressive street-fighter design, the fuel tank is flared at the top edges and slants forward.
The flared design enables a large 17 litre fuel capacity.
Cruising range is on par with large-displacement models.
